Vitamix is my favorite blender for creating healthy juices.  It is certainly worth the price tag. What are the benefits of juicing?

Here are several of the benefits:

  • It allows the body to consume more vegetables/fruits.
  • Allows for a greater variety of vegetables and fruits to provide diverse nutrition
  • Feeds good bacteria to the digestive system.
  • Vegetables are one of the best sources of these prebiotics. To give you proof here’s a list of foods rich in prebiotics.
  • Light green, dark green and yellow coloured vegetables are rich in carotene, Vitamin C and E and folate that help fight colon cancer.
  • It helps people undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments that destroy a great deal of the good bacteria in the digestive system
  • It lowers cholesterol
  • Detoxifies the body
  • Provides a healthy, vital glow to the skin
  • Improves blood sugar levels
  • Improves Athletic performance
